Raheem Sterling scores twice as Manchester City canter to crucial three points at Crystal Palace

data-js=”article-body” data-insert-mobile-adslot>

terling’s mental prowess matches his physical ability and one senses that he feels ready to have a big say in the destination of this season’s title.

It says much about how key Sterling is to manager Pep Guardiola that he was not among those rotated between the Champions League tie against Tottenham and the trip to Palace.

Kevin De Bruyne and Leroy Sane were rested at Spurs, but both men returned to play key roles on Sunday and they will surely retain their places for Wednesday night’s Champions League second leg.

It was De Bruyne who set up Sterling for his first goal in the 15th minute. Palace assistant Ray Lewington had been waving his team forwards when Vincent Kompany headed the ball away from his own area and it eventually dropped to the Belgian.

Still inside his own half of the pitch, De Bruyne brilliantly caught out Palace’s defence with a low pass that released Sterling, who beat Scott Dann for pace and shot past goalkeeper Vicente Guaita.

urprisingly, De Bruyne’s assist was his first in the League since May 2018 when he had set up City’s final goal of the 2017/18 season.

Making Sterling’s finish even more impressive was that just four minutes earlier he had missed an open goal after being expertly teed up by David Silva. It was the kind of mistake that could have lingered on a weaker mind, but the 24-year-old is no longer one to dwell on his mistakes.

Whereas Guardiola had opted for a more cautious approach at Tottenham, City were back near their dominant best with Palace at times made to look like a collection of players drafted in to complete a training routine.

On the day named ‘Masters Sunday’ by golf enthusiasts, De Bruyne was reaching for every club in the bag with his range of passing.

He played one cross-field ball for Aguero at the end of the first half that caught the striker on his heels and De Bruyne let his team-mate know that he should have been more alert.

Palace had beaten City in December, but could barely get the ball off their opponents during a first half which finished with the visitors having 77 per cent of possession.

he only time the home side threatened City before the break was when Christian Benteke nodded down a Luka Milivojevic chip, but Ilkay Gundogan got to the ball before substitute Cheikhou Kouyate.

Unsurprisingly, it remained one-way traffic in the second half, with Sane being denied a chance to score from De Bruyne’s pass thanks to Martin Kelly guiding the ball though to Guaita.

City’s second goal came just after the hour mark as Walker, Aguero and Silva combined to work the ball to Sane, whose cross was side-footed in by Sterling. It looked a simple finish, but it required a cool head and perfect placement.

That should have made for a comfortable final half hour for Guardiola’s team, but Aguero was replaced by Jesus a to slap in a transfer demand at Liverpool, it has been revealed.AS says Liverpool sources have confirmed Salah is unsettled at Liverpool and remains unhappy with manager Jurgen Klopp. It’s suggested Salah was talked out of demanding a move away earlind headed straight for the dressing-room before Milivojevic gave Palace some hope with eigt three years. The Blues haven’t won the Premier League title since lifting the trophy at the end of the 2016-17 season.Hasslebaink is happy to see manager Frank Lampard fielding so many youngsters and believes his decision to blood them into the squaht minutes remaining.

Kompany and Gundogan combined to foul James McArthur on the edge of the penalty area and Milivojevic stepped up to send his free-kick through the wall and into the right corner of Ederson’s net.

But as Palace pushed men forwards in search of an equaliser, De Bruyne broke and played in Jesus to calm any nerves, although it is hard tember. As we did for the Qualification Group Stage, we again look at key players, particularly imports on the team rosters. We also give our perspective on Lugano of Switzerland, which has received attention in the States as 16 of the players are youo imagine Guardiola and his team feeling anything but confident.

rystal Palace are the only team in the entire top flight to have won more points on the road than they have at home this season. Just four wins from 16 games at Selhurst Park is relegation form, and they are only safe because of results on their travels – like .

At home against a City who – strangely enough – have a host of star players rested after the Champions League first leg at Spurs in midweek and need a win to keep pace with Liverpool at the top of the table, you can’t really fancy Palace to get a result today.

t’s a 4-3-3 with Ilkay Gundogan at the base of midfield, while there is no place even on the bench for Fernandinho, who presumably is being kept fresh for Wednesday. Bernardo Silva is not fit to start.

Meanwhile for , Christian Benteke comes in for Michy Batshuayi up front. Scott Dann returns in central defence. Aaron Wan-Bissaka – who has been linked with a move to City – has the chance to show the champions what he can do.

DT Brockers a Kyle Williams apprentice

It’s not uncommon for two NFL players from the same college program to befriend one another with their school being a natural connection. Bills DT Kyle Williams is almost six NFL seasons removed from his days of tearing of interior linemen in the SEC at LSU, but a fellow Tiger poised to be one of the first defensive tackles off the board this spring has made it a point to make Williams his mentor.

Williams, who lives just eight miles from his former college campus in Baton Rouge in the offseason, often uses LSU’s facilities for his training in preparation for the next NFL regular season. Several of his former college teammates do the same, and they openly interact with the current LSU players that are doing offseason training on campus themselves.

From the time Brockers arrived at LSU he took advantage of the opportunity to seek the counsel of an NFL veteran like Williams.

“I work out with Glenn Dorsey and Kyle Williams and all those guys,” said Brockers. “They all come back.”

But few are there as frequently as Williams providing Brockers the chance to sit down and ask questions of the Pro Bowl defensive tackle.

“I’m up there four or five days a week and he would come in and knew who I was and that I played defensive tackle,” Williams told “When you get out there and start working out with those guys and run with the team you form a friendship and you talk and help them with whatever you can or what they have questions about. He’s been there for three years and I’ve known him for that long.”

Brockers was just a 250-pound defensive end during his redshirt freshman season, but eventually grew into a 6’5″ 322-pound behemoth that showed up at the NFL Combine last week. Knowing defensive tackle was going to be his position Brockers’ questions for Williams came in rapid fire succession.

“I try to talk with (Kyle) as much as I can just to know what I have to do to be a Pro Bowler like Kyle is. I ask him all kinds of questions,” said Brockers.

Though he only was a full-time starter for one season, Brockers ability to control the line of scrimmage and make plays has him being discussed as one of the top three defensive tackles in the draft class, following his decision to forgo his remaining college eligibility with the Tigers.

“I feel like I did pretty good in the SEC,” said Brockers. “I feel like I accomplished a lot. Winning the SEC championship, playing in the national championship. I know we didn’t win the national championship, but I feel like everything I wanted to do was accomplished. I also wanted to help my mom and my family financially.”

Brockers seemed to play his best in the biggest games. In the BCS title game against Alabama he had a career-high seven tackles, including one for loss and a blocked field goal. In the SEC Championship game against Georgia he had six tackles, including two for loss, a forced fumble and a batted pass.

Despite being blessed with enormous physical gifts, Brockers sounds like he has his head on straight. He knows the NFL will be a step up in competition and is soaking up all he can from Williams to be prepared.

“We’ll sit down and talk for hours and hours about what I need to do and how I can make myself better as a player and an individual and I just talk to him all the time,” said Broc move to Spain.Currently in charge of Gimnasia La Plata, the former Barcelona star could take the job at Segunda Division Elche. That’s according to Pipi Estrada, who revealed the news on El Chiringuito de JugonesMarca says sources have stated that, ikers. “He’s a good guy, a very good role model for me.”

“We’ve talked a lot about hand placement and how it works,” said Williams. “Offensive linemen all set different ways. One sets this way and another sets that way. So he would ask me what to do against a lineman that sets one way and a lineman that sets another way. Just different stuff like that.”

Williams believes Brockers has a lot of the physical tools NFL scouts and coaches are looking for at the defensive tackle position. Knowing the young prospect has the desire to improve his game only enhances the package.

“Every time I’ve been around him he’s always been a hard working guy,” said Williams. “He always asks questions. He’ll sometimes try to add some of the things I show him to his game, but sometimes he’ll come back to me and say, ‘You showed mes Academy manager Scott Sellars is delighted with their deal for Owen Hesketh. The teen has followed Sellars from Manchester City.Sellars told the club’s website: “We signed Owen from Manchester City, he’s been there a long time and I knew him from this, but I can’t do that. Why can’t I do that?’ So I have him show me what he’s doing, so the want-to is there.

“He wants to learn how to be the best at what he’s doing. That’s a plus. There are a lot of gu snapped in apparent Manchester United gear ahead of his move from Crystal Palace being confirmed.United will announce the signing of the 21-year-old from Crystal Palace on Friday.Wan-Bissaka completed his medical on Thursday, and he is now set to beys in the league that just want to do it so they can have a job and get to play football. But there are only a handful that want to be the best at their craft.”

“I can only get better from now on,” Brockers said. “That’s really my mindset. I can only get better. So I want to push my potential to the next level. Kyle is helping me do that.”

Where things stand with Stevie

Bills receiver Stevie Johnson has stated time and again that he wants to be back with the club that made him a seventh-round pick come the 2012 season. Since the season came to a close Sunday Buffalo’s quarterback and head coach weighed in with varying degrees of support for that to happen.

Johnson was not available for comment during the locker clean out period when the media can conduct interviews, but Ryasays the Blues have been pushing ‘strongly’ for the 26-year-old since January. The scored 20 goals in all competitions last season, including 17 in La Liga. West Ham are also believed to be interested in his services.Borja’s deal caining on Friday ahead of Sunday’s derby against Lazio.Roma coach Paulo Fonseca admits he welcomed the positive support.“I am happy to see the support of our fans, as that is so important for us. They have supported us constantly and we must fight arries a €28m buyon Fitzpatrick made it clear where he stands on Stevie Johnson and his future.

“Me and him I feel like a lot of what I’ve done and a lot of the success I’ve had since I’ve been here has been because of him,” said Fitzpatrick. “And the success that he’s had a lot of it has been because of me. We have that relationship. I don’t know what’s going to happen and obviously I’m not a decision maker and I’m not going to be involved in that process. I know they know I want him back. He knows I want him back.”

When one looks at the numbers it’s easy to understand Fitzpatrick’s position. Over the past two seasons 25 percent of his completions have gone to Johnson. Almost 30 percent of his passing yards the past two years have been accumulated by Johnson. And more than a third of the team’s passing touchdowns the last two seasons have been made by Fitzpatrick and Johnson (36%).

The figures are a clear indicator of Johnson’s importance to Buffalo’s passing game on an offense that head coach Chan Gailey has stated in the past is a ‘pass to set up the run’ attack. As for Gailey’s desire to have Johnson back in the fold for 2012 and beyond, it’s clear that the receiver’s repeated run-ins with penalty flags due to touchdown displays have given Buffalo’s sideline boss pause.

In fact a pause is exactly what Gailey took before answering the question of whether he wants Johnson back on his team.

“Yes… and with stipulations,” he said. “You love what Stevie does on the field before he scores touchdowns. So you just have to decide if he can and we can get that under control.”

In the same breath Gailey made sure to say that Johnson’s most recent actions will not overshadow the team’s review of all that the talented receiver has done in his time with the Bills.

“To say it doesn’t have an impact would be a lie, but you have to look at the whole body of work and not give a knee-jerk reaction to something that happened,” said Gailey. “At the same time it’s not the first time. So you take the whole body of work into consideration when you’re making decisions like that for your football team. Every evaluation is heavy when you are talking about things like this.”

After Sunday’s season finale Johnson indicated he had no way of predicting what would happen regarding his contract situation and the Bills.

“I don’t know. That’s not in my hands really,” he said. “It’s all on upstairs to see what they want to do and we’ll go from there. As of now I’m a Buffalo Bill.”

Gailey reiterated after Sunday’s game that Johnson is a good person that just has bad judgment at times. Fitzpatrick concurred describing the receiver as a dedicated teammate.

“Steve is always a guy that he’s got a good heart and he really does mean well. Everything comes from a good place with him,” Fitzpatrick said. “He’s not a difficult guy by any means to get along with. During the week, during the offseason, during a game he really is a good teammate. It’s been unfortunate all the negative attention that he’s had from the Jets game and from this last game. And he’s brought it upon himself. All that attention comes from him bringing it to himself.”

Johnson had a one-on-one exit interview with Gailey, which is conducted with each player on the roster at season’s end and the head coach st Frankfurt was “delusional”.Emery said his team were in control of the match before a short spell allowed Frankfurt to seal a 2-1 win.”To me, it sounded a bit delusional,” Hartson said.”It sounded like he’s hiding from the reality of his team is nothared a bit of what was discussed.

“I told him exactly we have to get things under control,” he said. “That’s going to be important going forward. Whether he’s here or not, he needs to get that under control.”

Fitzpatrick has his fingers crossed that it’s here.

“He wants to be here, but we’ll see how it turns out,” Fitzpatrick said. “I’m a better player with Stevie on my team. I think he’s a better player with me as his quarterback.”

Bills CEO covers range of topics

Bills CEO Russ Brandon has been making the rounds this week with a string of interviews with local media. His most telling came Thursday morning when he addressed far more than just the club’s new uniform unveiling on Friday night. Brandon addressed negotiations for a new lease agreement with Erie County, the ability for Buffalo to compete with larger market clubs in the future and the AEG Group in Los Angeles that has plans to build an NFL ready stadium in California. Here are his comments.

We are excited about it.  It has been about an 18-month long proncerns about Liverpool’s five-point lead at the top of the table.Last week’s shock defeat to Norwich has left City playing catch up in the opening weeks of the season.”We accept it,” he said. “It doesn’t happen many times in the big moments. I’m recess.  I think people will be really excited about it.  We’ve got a lot going on tomorrow night.  Right now we have distributed over 17,000 tickets so I think people are pretty stoked about it.  Lots open at 4:30.  We will have tailgating.  The gates open at 5:45 pm.  We have a lot of interactive games and events for kids and families.  Then we have the uniform launch with a performance from the Tom Sartori Band along with pyro – fireworks.  And then we will have the debut of the 2010 highlight film followed by the movie Blind Side.

It has been a combination of a lot n Firpo this summer.Barcelona and Real Madrid are also said to be tracking the 22-year-old who can operate both on the left-side of defence and midfield.Firpo made 29 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring three goals and making five asof things.  We listened to our fans.  We have done a lot of research on this and as I have mentioned this is a long process to go through.  We just wanted to get back to our storied tradition while we still highlight our brand.  I think people will be very excited about it.  The uniform that we are currently in served us very well.  We had a lot of positive feedback with the throwbacks over the past 5-6 years.  I think a combination of our fans and everyone internally and Mr. Wilson, we thought it was just time to make a change.  We didn’t have a lot of success in those uniforms and it is time to move on.

We are going to have a lot of fun with that.  We are going to honor some of our local military in the Wounded Warrior program.  A program that we are tied into with the alumni.  That is really their main benefit for the year.  It is going to be very exciting from that standpoint to have the local military tied in and have some season ticket holder involvement as well.

We have tried to keep business as usual throughout the course of the year across the business units.  Season ticket holders just had the opportunity to purchase individual tickets over the past week.  Season ticket sales have been going on since the beginning of the year along with our renewal process.  All of that is going on fairly well.  We are looking forward to having some type of resolution in the near future where people have a sense that they know we are playing football.  Overall we have been very pleased with the progress on the ticket side.

We are moving along pretty good in our first couple of games with Oakland and New England.  We may be in that type of position for those games.

What I will say is that the one point of optimism is that you have both principles speaking.  They are negotiating.  They are talking.  Anytime you are in that type of environment it has got to be viewed as a positive.  That is what I have taken out of it.  You had the litigation phase and any time you have that you really want to get back to the negotiating table and I think that is what we have with both principles there and I think we need to view that as a positive.

It is difficult for me to talk about it, because we are mandated not to speak on it.  Like I said before the optimism is based on the fact that we are back negotiating and I think that is a positive.

I think that once everyone went through the process and saw where it came out from that standpoint I don’t want to say anyone was right or wrong but the model wasn’t obviously working when you look at what happened two years later with the CBA.  So I think from that standpoint, the positive is that we work toward a model that works for everybody and the league can flourish like it has for the last 40 years and have it flourish for another 40 years.

When you talk about that, people have been painting a not so rosy picture for the 15 years I have been here.  From our standpoint, our focus is on keeping this franchise viable.  That is my main responsibility along with our staff’s.  That’s all apart of regionalization.   I know you have heard that buzz word for years on end.  But it has really been the lynch pin to the future of our franchise.  Rochester has obviously proven to be a tremendous asset to us across all business platforms.  And training camp is there and that has proven to be a tremendous model.  Our support from the Rochester region is immense.  Though it came with a lot of criticism that is the exact focus on what the Toronto relationship is about.  When you look at the region from up to Toronto through Rochester back down to Buffalo and the Southern Tier you are one of the largest markets in the league when you put that all together.  As we mentioned at the opening press conference, it was as much about bringing the fans to Ralph Wilson Stadium from the southern Ontario markMiguel Almiron amongst the goals.Almirón’s brace against West Brom in the FA Cup on Tuesday night saw the Paraguayan establish himself as the Magpies’ leading goalscorer this season, taking over the mantle from Jonjo Shelvey.“We’ve played him in hetplace as it was the initiative to bring the brand above the border.  That has proven to be very positive for us.  In two years we have had a 44 percent increase in season ticket holders from southern Ontario coming down to Ralph Wilson Stadium.  That is about keeping this franchise here, it is about keeping this franchise viable.  And that has been the impetus from our standpoint since day 1.

We have had a great relationship with Rogers and our folks up there.  It is definitely a part of our long-term thinking.  We knew it was a long-term agreement and it is going to take awhile to build a brand in a new marketplace.  When you have a marketplace of over five million people there is a lot to do and a lot of different brands in the sports scene up there.  We looked at it from a very narrow prism that long-term it has got to be a part of our region and really should be a part of our region in every aspect of our business.  It is a very important marketplace.

Rochester has long been around the 14-15 percent mark when you look across all platforms.  The southern Ontario marketplace has just inched past that over the past year.  It is very important to us and important to grow our business relationships up there.  Back 5-10 years ago no one thought we would sell 160 suites, that we would sell 188 club suites in the new NFL so to speak.  We were able to accomplish that by regionalizing.  Rochester is a very large piece of our business on the suite side.  And that’s part of the growth we are looking for from the Toronto marketplace as well.

Absolutely.  We don’t let sand get under our shoes.  From the standpoint of growing our business our marketplace has been tremendously supportive over the past decade – really forever.  We need to continue to reach out and continue to regionalize.  When you look at this region in totality it is one of the top regions in the league.  There is no reason we can’t compete in every phase of our business.  We over-index in every phase of our business now.  There is no reason for us and everyone in our organization to feel that way.  I am from this region, I have been here 15-20 years, I plan to be here 15-20 more with the franchise.

I think our franchise is very healthy from the standpoint of the nuances we just mentioned related to our business.   We have to work hard here in Buffalo to sell tickets to sell suites to sell sponsorships.  As I mentioned I think we are one of the over-indexing teams in the league for the size of our marketplace and what we are able to accomplish from a business standpoint.  But we need to continue to keep the building full, to keep the suites sold, and to continue to drive our sponsorship revenue. It is very important because we are a volume business.  We are very affordable and we are very affordable because we are very volume-oriented.  We have a large stadium.  We have a lot of premium products and they need to stay sold.  That is part of our job off the field and that is part of our job on the field.  We haven’t had tremendous success over the last decade.  That’s well-documented.   But we have had very good success off the field.   We have sold out 85 percent of our games in the 2000s.  We were at 67 percent in the 90s.  We have a model and a fan passion here that deserves a winner and I think we have the right people in place with Buddy Nix and with Chan Gailey and with some of the new hires that Buddy has made.  We are trying to bring winners to the organization.  When you look at what we have done with bringing in Doug Whaley from the Steelers as our assistant GM, Chuck Cook from the Kansas City Chiefs during their heyday running their college department, Tom Gibbons coming back after being part of the growth out in San Diego and Chan’s won everywhere he has been.  So we are very excited about the future of our franchise on the field.

That is not for me to discuss.  That is about Mr. Wilson.  My responsibility is to our staff and keeping this franchise humming.  It has been well-documented that Mr. Wilson is committed to this region and committed to Buffalo.  That is what we are focused on.

Not that I am aware of.  They did not contact me.

We are very happy in Buffalo and we are focused on Buffalo.  Right now there is so much focus on labor and so much focus because we have not had the normal offseason that people are reaching for so much information that it is almost like the Da Vinci Code.  There are so many different stories going on about everything.   Our focus is right here in Buffalo – point blank, period.  That is where it is going to be for many years to come.

Chris (Collins) and I have had some conversations.  We are both going to be very focused with our organization and with the county moving forward, once we understand the CBA.  We are just going to sit back and see what happens when the CBA comes out.  There is no reason to reach or think or pretend that we know what is in the documents moving forward.  So, once we have a clear awareness of what the runway is with the CBA, we will sit down and have some meaningful discussions.

It is up at the end of this year.  We have had quite a few talks with the president, Don Bain.  Fisher has been a tremendous partner.  Our focus right now has been getting through the CBA, but we have gone through all the preparations for training camp much like we would in any other year.  Fisher has been very gracious to say, ‘Once you know, we will be ready to go.’  So, we plan on going to Fisher, we are preparing like we are going to Fisher.  Fisher has gone through another face lift this year with some renovations there.  So, we have been working through that process. They have added a pretty significant track and field program.  There will be some change for us that we are working through right now.  Our anticipation is – we have been at St. John Fisher for 11 years and we plan on being at Fisher for a long time.

I think when you look at naming rights, it’s any easy answer for people to say, ‘Why don’t you sell your naming rights?’  I don’t want to get into too many business perspectives of it, but it is not as simple as saying, ‘hey, just throw up your naming rights and you get this amount of revenue.’  If you really broke down naming rights deals across the board, I think they would look a lot different to you than actually what they may be.  Our Toronto agreement is very focused on that type of environment.  We have sold the naming rights to our fieldhouse recently with one of the local partners.  I think we are very well-positioned with our revenues and well-positioned with our corporate sponsorships, where we are pleased overall with the categories that we are in.

We have had discussions with them right now about where the agreement is with the CBA and with the game this year.  Our focus right now is playing the Redskins up in Toronto.  They have some new leadership there, obviously Phil Lind is their vice chairman and Keith Pelley is their new president.  Keith and I have had some conversations relative to our current agreement.  We anticipate having some discussions moving forward.

I think all that was was a discussion and a proposal of a discussion.  That’s really all that it is right now.  We are very focused on the volume aspect of our business, being a larger facility to stay affordable. That is something that we are very focused on and selling every seat in that building.

I think some people think we came up with this overnight, this was a couple-year process.  In talking to our fans through focus groups, through surveys and this no smoking policy inside the gates was really something that people were very focused on.  It is just another element in trying to improve the experience at the stadium.  When it comes to the lots, we are really working with the league on best practices.  We are one of the few teams, really one of the only teams in the league that were beyond four hours.  We are just trying to be compliant with the league on the four hour policy.  Some teams are three hours.  It is just another variable in trying to improve the experience and we will work through it with our fans and they have been very supportive.

Southampton season review 2015-16: Final verdict on Ronald Koeman’s campaign

data-js=”article-body” data-insert-mobile-adslot>What went wrong?

Eight defeats in 10 games during a six week period from the end of November until the start of January. Were it not for this very marked dip in form, Southampton might easily have been taking the fourth Champions League place from one of the Manchester clubs.

What’s the verdict on Ronald Koe.The Serb is currently with Zenit St Petersburg, where he helped guide them to the Russian Premier League title last season.Ivanovic told Sport-Express: “It’s hard to talk about plans, but now I’m one hundred percent focused on Zenit. I want to stayeman?

Koeman’s excellent work at St Mary’s has made him in demand. Everton are interested, Southampton areHarry Redknapp says Christian Eriksen should be sold in January. The Denmark international is set to leave Spurs when his current contract expires at the end of the season.“I don’t see him signing a new contract now,” he told The Sun. “I think he wi hopeful that he will sign a new contract. The question for Koeman, who’s longer-term dreams are with Holland or Barcelona, is whether those goals are more attainable from Everton than Saints.

Transfer priorities

A goalkeeper and a right-back but only limited surgery needed should players stay and, after persuading Van Dijk, Fraser Forster and James Ward-Prowse to sign new deals, there is hope that others, such as Victor Wanyama, will follow. Adding potential future first-team players to the older academy age groups is another priority this summer

Bills suddenly thin at offensive tackle

Already without holdout Pro Bowl left tackle Jason Peters, Buffalo’s offensive tackle position became drastically thin Monday night when Patrick Estes and Matt Murphy went down with injuries in the span of five minutes.

Murphy appeared to suffer the more serious injury of the two as he was in obvious pain with a left shoulder injury. Estes meanwhile suffered a left leg injury as athletic trainers were checking his knee.

“It was a disappointing night in that regard,” said head coach Dick Jauron.

Buffalo now has just three healthy offensive tackles left in training camp in Langston Walker, Kirk Chambers and seventh-round pick Demetrius Bell.

When asked how he’d describe his team’s current depth at the position Jauron gave an honest answer.

“Not much. There’s not much depth right now,” said Jauron. “We’d like to be real deep unfortunately it seems like it works that way at times where you just get hit in a spot. Right now it looks like that’s the spot so we’ll keep working through it and see what happens.”

Murphy was taken to a local Rochester hospital for x-rays and an MRI to determine the exact nature of his shoulder injury.

With Buffalo’s next preseason game coming Jurgen Klopp. While he leaves with a big reputation, Genesio admits he’s had to win over people because of his lack of profile as a player. He said, “I was lucky to have this first experience in a very high level club with young players to develop. It up Thursday, Jauron admitted that you want numbers at the offensive tackle position particularly in the preseason, but the Bills do not have that luxury at the moment.

“We wished we were deeper, but right now we’re not,” he said. “You only really need two (tackles), but you’d like tm in the Europa League. The Red Devils are facing FC Astana in the group stages.Fans were planning to take a trip that would be arranged through the now bankrupt travel company Thomas Cook.United are stepping up, saying that any fans that show proof oo have a whole bunch of them for a preseason game. But you can get through the game with two and if you ever got down to one you’d do something to get by there too.”

Buffalo’s head coach said in light of thet Ham United will spend part of their preseason this summer in Australia.Palace will play two matches in the state of Queensland, Australia, this July as part of the club’s pre-season preparations for the 2020/21 campaign, in a first trip of its kind evening’s injuries at the position they may have to make a roster move to refortify the position.

“I’m sure we will talk about it,” said Jauron. “It just depends on what happens and the reports we get back.”
